Lilly Pulitzer x Pottery Barn Launch

I've been an avid Pottery Barn fan since childhood. I loved (and still love) going a county over from my hometown to the ~fancy~ mall and spending time gazing in admiration at every single thing on the Pottery Barn floor. I'm currently writing this on the cutest set of yellow rose PB sheets. The love runs deep. And though I live in NYC where the official dress code is black, it would not be summer without breaking out my Lilly as often as possible. And when I'm back home you already know I'm rocking some of her signature bright watercolor prints. That being said, I was beyond excited to hear about a second Pottery Barn and Lilly Pulitzer collection. I had missed my chance to snag the first collection but this time around my body (and wallet) were ready to snag all the beautiful towels and decor I can.

Today I had the super exciting opportunity to preview the new Lilly Pulitzer and Pottery Barn collab at the Palm Beach Experience in NYC pop-up. Aside from previewing the GORGEOUS second collab between the brands, there was a beach braid station, a giant Lilly coloring wall, and a juice bar! It was all together a super fun event centered around a gorgeous and colorful line. The collection officially launches 3/15 at midnight, I would suggest staying up and ordering as soon as it launches because last year I logged on at like 3pm and everything I liked had sold out. The collection is only available on the Pottery Barn website or in store. They've been pretty hush hush about the collection, but I am here to tell you all about it! It featured everything from bedding, to seating, to tapestries, to outdoor furniture, to pool accessories, to pillows, to trunks. When I say they had everything your house might need- I'm not exaggerating.

The collection is SO vast and includes bits in PB Kids and PB Teen as well. They have The cutest kid chairs, canopies, pillows, and THE CUTEST LILLY STUFFED ANIMALS! I will definitely be adding this turtle and maybe the mermaid to my cart tomorrow. Their bedding is also available in Twin so your little one can have the most colorful (and stain hiding) sheets around.

I am super excited about their bedding! I'm kind of a sheet snob, and Pottery Barn has been the only one I can sleep comfortably in for at least the last decade. And their lightweight comforters are so cute and soft! Perfect for the warmer months and beyond cute. I heard like three women say something along the lines of "I hope my husband doesn't mind sleeping under a pink Lilly comforter" so you know these will be a hot seller!

Their seating collection ranged from floor pillows, comfy chairs, saucer chairs, and even bean bags! If you're looking for a nice accent piece without making the commitment of a full room of Lilly, a chair is a great way to make your neutral pieces pop!

Throw pillows are my one true love, so you know I was looking to see what kind of fun prints this collection had! They had blue, pink, green, and white styles and I was so here for it! If you're like me and renting a shoebox apartment that barely has room for you, throw pillows are a great way to liven the place up and can work with your existing furniture. Run do not walk to grab these bad boys up.

Of course a brand based in Palm Springs would have amazing outdoor furniture. They had standard patio cushions and outdoor pillows, but they also had a tent (I would not trust it camping out in the mountains, it's more for when you're taking a break from the sun on a beach day. They also had pool floats which I was HERE FOR. Someday I'll have outdoor space, but for now I'll let you lovely ladies snag those up.

So, as you can see the Lilly x PB collection is INSANE but I hope these highlights helped you maybe want to grab a few things. I also just wanted to thank Lilly and Pottery Barn for putting on such an amazing event. Lilly girls are honestly some of the most genuine and nicest humans I've ever met and everyone there was so happy and it was never weird talking to a complete stranger because everyone was just so amazing. It was totally different from other NYC events in the absolute best way. I dragged Clark along with me and even he had a blast! Going to something like this is completely out of my comfort zone and I'm so glad it was a wonderful experience and that I got to meet some absolutely amazing women! I will leave you today with a picture of me matching this bean bag chair I absolutely need.
