Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sunday Sale Week 2

Hey friends! For the next couple of weeks, we are going to be doing Sunday Sale a little differently. From August 30- September 19th, Ulta Beauty marks down a few hot ticket items a day by 50% for you to shop. Everyday comes with new deals that disappear within 24 hours. There is definitely a lot to shift through so I've decided to break down my thoughts for each day and let you know what I think is worth it!

September 6th:

I would 100% recommend this! I tried a tester of this foundation and I loved it! It is lightweight and didn't look caked on. It also has a pretty amazing shade range.

Perricone Cold Plasma+: Was $29-159 Now $14.50-79.50

So, I really do not know much about this product because I would never spend $159 on a moisturizer, but they seem to all have amazing reviews so might be worth checking out if this is in your price range!

Clinique Eyeliners: Was $20-23 Now $10-11.50

I am actually a huge fan of the Clinique Quickliner! It is great for everyday use and totally worth it at the discount in my opinion.

Products like this can be helpful if used correctly, I would recommend doing a little research to make sure this is what you need beforehand!

September 7th:

Too Faced Natural Palettes: Was $39-44 Now $19.50-22

Do I think these palettes are groundbreaking? No. Do I think they are good if you are looking for a small and easy to use neutral palette? Yes! If you are newer to makeup or do not want the hassle of over the top palettes, these are great! I have been a fan of Too Faced face products for a while, so I think the face palette would be worth picking up!

Dermablend Setting Powders: Was $29 Now $14.50

I usually prefer pressed powder, but this banana powder is so good! It instantly brightens your under eyes and makes you look more awake!

This is such a good product! Though I am hesitant to say go out and buy it because it is something you will want to rebuy to keep up the results and I am jut not at the point in my life where I can justify $60 a month on moisturizer.

I love Peter Thomas Roth, and normally I would just blindly support this brand, but this particular cleaner has a lot of citrus in it that can be damaging to the skin. If you pick it up, I would say it should not be an everyday product!

So this product also has citrus in it, but it is lower on the ingredients list and it in only the peel, so if you were looking for a physical exfoliant, I don't think this would be a bad option.

September 8th:

So moment of truth here, I have never in my life worn fake lashes and I don't really plan on it anytime soon. Not only do I really like my natural lashes, I just do not trust myself with glue around my eye. But these look like great deals if you do use them!

So this line is not that great for sensitive skin! And seems to run out fairly quickly. But ingredients wise it seems very good! I would probably say the serum is a better investment of the two!

The only way I see justifying this is if you need one good transition shade to go with all of your looks. I personally think stick shadows are annoying, I have a few shimmery ones I use on occasion, but it's never seemed worth it to me.

This isn't super exciting, but tinted moisturizers do get more use in my makeup bag than traditional foundations! But I'm really not wearing much makeup below my eyes because #MaskLife.

September 9th:

Becca Primers: Was $39 Now $19.50

I've really liked some of the Becca primers, especially the Ever-Matte formulation. If you are in the market for a primer, these would be a great deal to check out!

No one is doing full on lip looks right now. Unless you ran out and were waiting for a sale or do your makeup for Instagram- pass.

This is all part of a woman founded collective and I love it! I would personally pick up the ZOEVA Spice of Life Palette and the Beauty Bakerie Face Powder, but these are all amazing brands and you can't really go wrong!

September 10th:

I have been told repeatedly that most eye creams are gimmicks, but that does not stop me from wanting this one! It just makes me feel like a responsible adult and if I can save money doing so, even better.

This is one of those "if you need one or like this, go for it" type of things. I'm not huge on blush nor would I ever see myself wearing a shimmer bronzer so it's really not that exciting for me.

St. Tropez Express Mousse: Was $44 Now $22

This is like the holy grail of self-tanner! And if I was alt all confident in my ability to use this and still have pretty sheets I would pick it up! I've never personally self-tanned but at this price, I am intrigued.

Bareminerals Concealers: Was $22-24 Now $11-12

I will say it 10000x over, I love Bareminerals face powders. They are just really good? I'm sorry?? I had the BAREPRO Concealer stick and after a while, it ended up breaking. But I continued to make a mess of myself and tried everything to continue using it. The product itself wasn't bad, but it's just worth noting.

Clarins, Murad & Shiseido Moisturizers: Was $60-87 Now $30-43.50

The Murad water gel sounds promising, but I actually hated the one Shiseido product I tried, and I don't really have any interest in trying another one.

LORAC Pro Palettes: Was $39 Now $19.50

These were like THE palette for a while, and I was never able to justify the price. They seem to be run of the mill eyeshadow palettes, nothing crazy but very dependable and under $20 for 16 shades is not bad!

September 11th:

So I actually really love this eyeliner. I'm not a huge fan of kohl pencils and I don't use them often, but every now and again I'll get one in a subscription box or as a free gift and I always wonder why I never just bought one outright?

This is another product with citrus in it, but it is one of the last ingredients so I'm not too worried about it. It seems like a high quality daytime moisturizer and if I didn't currently have like 6 open moisturizers, I would pick it up.

September 12th:

Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits: Was $27-29 Now $13.50-14.50

So I know Kylie Cosmetics is kind of a compelling name in the beauty community, but I have to admit I was a loyal customer for a very long time and I do genuinely think some of her stuff is good. Now, I also realize we are in the midst of a pandemic and we are wearing masks and a liquid lipstick might not be the best investment right now. I personally think it is a good deal, but it is not the right purchase for everyone!

Not to be dramatic but I would probably melt in the NYC summer without my travel size face spray. I have heard some mixed things about this brand, but I will continue to get a spritz of cooling relief whenever necessary to continue living in a humid, shadeless heat.

I was almost going to say yes to this 100%, but it doesn't have any SPF and I personally like to double up in SPF in the morning, because your face needs a lot of it for the whole day. Like we are in 2020, why can't all moisturizers have SPF?
