5 Trader Joe's Staples + Launching My Youtube Channel!

Soooo guys... after years of "toying with the idea of starting a Youtube channel" I finally caved and started one! It is by no means perfect but has been a super exciting step in taking over the internet (lol jk... unless)...

I plan on posting one video every Thursday focusing mainly on NYC Lifestyle/ Plus Size Style/ Body Positivity with one video a month focusing on a prominent woman in history featured on the City of Women Map featured behind me in all of my videos ( you can watch my intro video for that series here)

My second video is all about my favorite Trader Joe's items I pick up every single time I stop there. I'm going to go into a little more detail on a few of my ride or die products here, but please feel free to watch my video to check out the other items I mentioned!

A little background, I mostly shop at Trader Joe's for myself, I do sometimes share groceries with my roommate or boyfriend, but aside from a few things most are for me. I also despise cooking so most things I get are easy bites for single girls, I also tend to eat a lot of the same things because no one told me adulthood would consist of actively having to feed themselves multiple times a day and I hate it. If you are looking for more creative recipes and uses for my picks, I definitely recommend checking out the TJ website.

Unexpected Cheddar Cheese

The perfect weird blend of cheddar and parmesan cheese for all your adult Lunchables needs. My boyfriend, Clark introduced me to this and we spent way too much time the first summer we were dating eating a whole block of this with a baguette in Central Park. I will say, it can get crumbly, which can be difficult to pair with crackers and bread for casual eating without making a mess. But the taste is worth it, I promise.

Soft and Juicy Mango

This was my go-to snack when I was physically going to work, and I was notorious for eating the whole bag in a day which idk if that is good but I did and I am alive. I'm actually not the biggest fan of Mango so I was very surprised I became obsessed with these. They're like a sweet jerky and I can't stop.

Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken

So I've always called myself an "at home vegetarian" because I am terrified of cooking meat. I bought a chicken breast once and then spent like 45 minutes trying to cook it in a pan and it was disgusting and I've never recovered. Because of that, I will pick these (or the vinaigrette version) up every time I run to TJs to add to a caesar salad (which I make like 3 times a week it's fine) or to one of my favorite dinners which is just one of these, white rice, and some avocado with either Everything But The Bagel Seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes. Just pop them in the microwave for 3 minutes and you're good to go!

Southwest Chopped Salad

I am a sucker for a bagged salad. I'm a huge salad gal in general but if I was going to buy every piece of this salad separately they would go bad before I could use it all because not only do I hate preparing things, I would never use like a whole thing of cabbage by itself so it's the most economically friendly and least wasteful option for me! I normally have a whole bag of salad with some cut up grilled chicken and/or avocado and I'm good to go.

Mushroom and Black Truffle Flatbread

When I say I could eat 8 of these a week... I am not a mushroom fan, but I will literally eat anything with black truffles and this one does certainly not disappoint! Clark also introduced me to this one and paired it with sour cream and BOY IS IT LIFE CHANGING. It might be a weird combo and I don't always pair them together but when I do it's A+.
