March Empties

And time for another update in a new series here- ranking my empties! Every month I do a roundup of products I use up and discuss how long I've had them, if I liked them, and if I will buy them again. I think not only is a great way for you guys to be exposed to new products and reviews, but will also allow me to take a step back and examine how I spend my money and how much I'm bringing into my life vs. what is going in the bin.

I was sent this product to try in October, and I am honestly torn on whether immune boosters are actually useful. I have used various immune boosters like Emergen-C for years and I personally like them, but it is so hard to track if it works. I do think it is great to have a boost of vitamins everyday though! These packets were a little big in my opinion, so I had problems with using cups that were big enough to dissolve them fully.

I was also sent this product back in September, and I will say I didn't ~hate~ this product, I do not fully believe this was necessary to my skincare routine. It was essentially a super thick moisturizer, and since I have only used one tub, I can't really comment on the firmest/ tightening claims, but it did have nice subtle fresh scent and would be good if you are someone who routinely forgets to bring your skincare down to your neck. I also just want to be transparent and say I did not have a super great experience with their social media team, they were very pushy and rude and wanted me to essentially post the same day I received the products. I am currently using a retinol I was also sent by them and I really do love it, it has helped decrease areas of intense acne I have been struggling with for over a year, I just do not know if I want to give a company my actual money if they are not the best people.

So I am embarrassed by how old this product is- I purchased this from Sephora in 2015 and I just ended up dumping the last half inch of powder into another loose powder jar because I could not stand looking at this bulky packaging for another second. It certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about. The only place I could find it online is Amazon so like I guess it doesn't even exist anymore.

I have used numerous Not Your Mother's products over the years and I bought this pre-quarantine as a dupe for my It's A 10 spray but I did not use it for the 6 months I was home, so I would say the bottle lasted me about 6-8 months. I would only use it on days I washed my hair but I really like it. It has a nice smell, and seemed to keep my shiny and de-frizzed. Though it is certainly no It's A 10. I'm using a different kind of spray now that I am really interested in so I won't be buying this anytime soon.

I got a two pack of mini lip sleeping masks for Valentine's Day 2020 and one lasted me 13 months! I can't even imagine how long one big one would last. I certainly do not know if these help your lips longterm (I am sure they do not) but it was a great part of my nighttime routine and I tend to sleep with my mouth open, so my lips dry out SO BAD so this saved me from waking up with a Sahara Desert mouth every morning. I'm currently using my other mini and I still love it!

So I have kind of cheated with these, that's why I am lumping them together. I have been using a huge Redkin Shampoo and Conditioner set on and off for like 2 years now and I noticed that they would dry out my hair after using it exclusively for a while, so I would buy some Pantene just to give my hair a break and put some moisture back into it. I then eventually got to the point where I could don't stand all the half empty bottles in my bathroom so I just combined everything into the big Redkin bottles and gave them a shake. I will say I have used the Moisture Renewal line before and I do think it helps when my hair gets dry and brittle, especially in the winter. The Volume Conditioner was kind of a waste of money, considering I don't put conditioner on my scalp so idk what I thought would give me volume.

I was sent these vitamins to try and I will say they are super tasty! Like actual candy I had to refrain from snacking on all the time. I used them in combination with collagen powder and and I definitely noticed a difference in my hair and nail length but it has not deeply changed the strength of my hair and nails.

I touched on this item in my natural deodorant highlight and it was definitely one of the best aluminum free deodorants I've tried since the switch! I personally feel like it is not strong enough to handle summer sweat but I would definitely repurchase!

This has been my ride to die product since I bought it in the summer of 2018! I literally will not wear a dress or skirt without it because it is literally the perfect product. I haven't bought a new one yet and I can certainly tell the difference between the discomfort levels.

I bought this on a whim because I really needed something to combat my dry skin and like I don't think I will ever go back! I got a bigger bottle of the coconut hydrating lotion when I ran out of this because like I don't think I will ever buy another giant lotion to keep in my room. Nothing, NOTHING, has come close to making me feel as soft and hydrated as this does and I have spent some coin on lotion in my day.

FYI, I use affiliate links, meaning I get a commission from certain items when you shop through my links (at no cost to you!) As always, I'll have more linked on my Like to Know it!
